You Just Took the First Step Toward Shark Conservation

The shark in your hands represents something bigger.

The shark in your hands isn’t just cute — it was designed with a purpose.

And yes… it’s fuzzy on purpose.

Why
Is It Fuzzy?

Sharks have been around for over 400 million years — but many people are afraid of them because of how they’re shown in movies and TV.

Artist and conservation advocate Jessica Adanich created Fuzzy Sharks™ to help change that.

When something feels soft and friendly, it’s easier to learn about it. And when we learn about something, we’re more likely to protect it.

You can learn more about the fuzz here!

Why Sharks Matter

Sharks Keep Our Oceans Healthy

Sharks are apex predators, which means they sit at the top of the ocean food chain. By keeping other species balanced, they help maintain healthy coral reefs, fish populations, and entire marine ecosystems.

Without sharks, ocean systems can collapse — and that impacts the entire planet.
